The new July indie patterns are available on PatternReview, and we are thrilled to say that ten of these patterns are TNT (tried n'true) patterns from StyleArc. Closet Core - Jo Dress + Jumpsuit

Closet Core patterns are a favorite amongst our community. Make a true statement with the Jo Dress + Jumpsuit. A V-necked bodice with a sculptural “croissant” sleeve is the star of the show and can be mixed and matched with your choice of pants or skirt to create a bold dress or jumpsuit. Featuring a beautiful and innovative bias-bound slot seam finish to add structure and dimension, Jo is an engaging sew with a big impact. The bodice for both views features a rounded, cut-on sleeve — choose between the large sleeve with an exaggerated rounded shape, or the small sleeve with a less dramatic silhouette. The bodice is shaped with darts in the front and a comfortable elastic waist in the back, and the neckline and outer sleeve seams are finished with our unique slot seam finish. Both views are finished with a traditional zipper and fabric zipper pull to make it easy to get on and off.

Fabric Recommendation: Stable midweight wovens such as linen, cotton broadcloth, sateen, ikat, and chambray. You may also use lightweight denim and twill provided it has some degree of drape.

Fehr Trade - Triumph Suit

Just in time for the summer races. Fehr Trade brings us a perfectly fitted athletic suit that will make you feel like a champion. Triumph in your next triathlon with a suit designed to move with you. Choose from either sleeved or sleeveless views. No side seam and shifted shoulder seams mean you’ll look great from all angles. Thread Theory Designs - Morden Work Pants

Thread Theory Designs, that is known for their menswear, brings us work pants for women. The Morden pants are designed for comfort and true function. The roomy legs, knee darts, close-fitting gusset, and a raised center back allow for an extreme range of movement. They can be sewn with a myriad of useful pockets and also include the option to add a hammer loop, reinforced knees, and a reinforced hem.

Skill level: Advanced

Fabric Recommendation: Light to medium weight wovens such as twill, denim, canvas and gabardine. For outdoor activities and work wear choose water-resistant cottons or synthetic blends designed for activewear (such as Ripstop).

Style Falcon - Sublime Shell

Everyone needs a simple woven top in their wardrobe. Style Falcon has added a new top pattern to their catalog that is so simple, yet so versatile. The Sublime Shell pairs well with jackets and cardigans, trousers and skirts. Sew it up in drapey woven fabrics such as lawn, crepe, georgette, voile or chiffon. You’ll reach for it time and again to create layers, or even to wear on its own. This top has raglan sleeves and a slight shirttail hem. Bust and back shoulder darts help you get a great fit in woven fabric. A keyhole back with button sews up quickly.

View A is a cap-sleeved top with a bias-bound neckline. You can bind the neckline with the same fabric as the top, or use a contrasting fabric to create dimension.
View B is a short-sleeved top with a neckline facing, for a dressier look.
