I am thankful to Pattern Review for providing a great place to read pattern reviews, for sewing contests, and for sewing-related classes. I like to read the daily digest in the morning with my first cup of coffee for the day. It is hard to believe that I have been a member for 20 years and so glad and thankful for Pattern Review's longevity!

I would like to thank everyone who participates in reviewing patterns on this site. I haven't been sewing that much lately, but it's nice to have a community where I can ask questions, refer to candid reviews, and be inspired by everyone who posts here. I am grateful for the positive & supportive feedback from participants, even when our projects don't turn out as we had hoped.

I would like to thank the participants on the epic project forum. They are all willing to share advice and comfort, when we have problems with sewing, and also with various epic life problems. We have become a supportive group of true friends, encouraging each other in many ways..

While I'm not much of a contest/competition person, I enjoy reading along each month. As I mentioned several days ago, the Contest Managers deserve a thank you. There is another group that seems to form a core of contest competitors and I would like to thank them. In no particular order it is never a surprise to see these PR members as contest participants. Among those who keep our contests happening and who generously encourage others to join in: errant pear, AshwiniJ, fkettman, Doris, Ryan's mom, nevereasy, sewnitup, SewLSC, SeaminglySimple, LauraJAllen, acmena, creatarian, doloroustrattus, indigo_sue, material excess, Raffey1, Kidnotes, ChicagoCalCal, Cupid Dog, DTsewingstories, LitaPita, Samstress, Melwyk, Kayseri, Ms Ingie, itssewover, Crabtree, Alpine Queen, VivianZ, Silknvintagetc, arubalass, detroy, and many more but these are the names that seem to consistently show up. I appreciate so much the effort and the garments they produce.

Lakaribane keeps us up to date on Burda Pattern magazine and new indie patterns. She has a great eye for finding new pattern makers as well. Always such a rich source of things that are new.

Thank you to with love Heidi. She sews a lot of garments that include embroidery embellishments and she is most generous sharing her embroidery knowledge with others. She is also quite knowledgeable about both Sinclair Patterns and Jalie. Ask a question about either and Heidi will most surely post a reply.

A thank you to and for VintageJoan. She is a thoughtful and persistent sewer. When I read her posts about the work she is doing, I am always impressed by her ability to keep on going even when fitting issues test her patience and will power. Things are not always easy as many of us know, but not everyone is willing to work through the difficulty. It's nice to have a friend who shows the way.

Wow, that was unexpected, as I hardly win anything! Thanks so much, Deepika & True Bias! :)

My thanks to shoes15 who started the thread Today I Learned… several years ago. This discussion has been going on for the last 2 years. It's always interesting to learn what others are learning and doing, often as a result of something not working out as planned. What a resourceful bunch. Thanks also to those who share in this discussion.

Well, isn't that nice! Thank you so much, and thank you to Kenneth King for donating his book, which looks very interesting indeed--time for me to learn something new!
