Itch to Stitch - Quebrada Skirt

Itch to Stitch introduces the Quebrada sewing pattern, your go-to choice for the perfect winter skirt. Whether you’re looking to create a stylish garment for warm, sunny days or cozy up for the colder seasons, the versatile Quebrada skirt is your perfect choice. The Quebrada Skirt features a beautifully flared gored design with five gores in the front and six in the back, allowing for a comfortable and flattering fit. Best of all, this pattern is compatible with a wide range of woven fabrics, from recycled denim to corduroy, microfiber, cotton, and more, so you can tailor it to your preferred style and climate. Go ahead and dress it up for a special occasion or dress it down for a casual, everyday look.

Sizes: 00 – 40

Skill Level: Beginner+

Fabric Recommendation: Bottom-weight woven fabric with minimum to no stretch, such as denim, twill, corduroy and heavy-weight linen.

Format: Available as a PDF (Digital) Pattern with Copyshop Print Option

Sew House Seven - Moon Booties

Sew House Seven gave us a couple new gifts this holiday season, the first includes these awesome booties. Moon Booties are the ultimate slippers; they're like puffy coats for your feet. These slip-on booties are non-foot specific and fit on either the left or right foot. The lining is slightly contoured to your foot thanks to the inner elastics at the ankle and foot bridge and the adjustable cord and toggle at the outer ankle. The foam sole insulates your feet against cold, wood, stone or ceramic floors and the insulated upper keeps your feet cozy and warm. The reinforced last and sole adds to their durability. Make a more technical pair for camping, ski trips or harsh weather settings using outdoor waterproof or water repellent fabrics. Or, use your scraps to make a cozy scrap busting natural fiber pair for home.

Sizes: Both Kid sizes sizes KA-KF (US 4 - 13.5 & 1 - 2) and Adult sizes AA-AF (US women's 4 - men's 14) included

Skill Level: Intermediate

Fabric Recommendation: Light-weight wind-breaker like fabrics such as nylong or polyester rip stop or taffeta; waterproof and breathable fabrics such as Gortex (or similar brand).

Format: Available as a PDF (Digital) Pattern with Copyshop Print Option

Sew House Seven Moon Booties are on sale for $10.80 for FoPR and $12.00 for all other members

Buy Sew House Seven Moon Booties

Our member meteor has already made her Moon Booties.  What did meteor have to say about her booties? "This is a fun technical project. If I had the time, I would do some quilting design for the outside of the boot.

Sew House Seven - Skyline Tee

Our second gift from Sew House Seven is the basic tee with loads of options. The Skyline Tee is a classic, body contouring t-shirt that includes five different necklines and four different sleeve options that can be interchanged to make a t-shirt for every season and occasion. Choose between a full length hem or a cropped hem.

Sizes: 00-20; 16-34

Skill level: Intermediate

Fabric Recommendation: Light to medium weight 4-way stretch knit fabrics with at least 50% horizontal and vertical stretch such as cotton stretch jersey, bamboo stretch jersey, stretch baby French terry, stretch thermal knit, stretch rib knit, stretch pointelle knit. Good stretch recovery is advised so that neckbands don't stretch out, however, too much stretch recovery may result in a tighter fitting t-shirt.

Format: Available as a PDF (Digital) Pattern with Copyshop Print Option.

Sew House Seven Skyline Tee is on sale for $14.40 for FoPR and $16.00 for all other members

Our member Raye Ann has already made her Skyline Tee. How does Raye Ann feel about her new tee? "I am really happy with the top- it fits as described and makes a great slim fit top.

Love StyleArc, they just seem to work for me! A lot less fitting problems, especially with the pants patterns, sensible seam allowances (which I admit take a bit of getting used to, but work brilliantly) and great style. Now that I am more experienced I find the instructions mostly ok, a few head scratching moments, but actually I enjoy the challenge. The newer patterns mostly have more detailed instructions on the website now under Tutorials, so that is a big improvement. Give StyleArc a try if you are ready to challenge yourself to learn new techniques, you might just find that they work for you too!
