Butterick is famous for its Patterns by Gertie and its retro collections. Every season we sewists are treated to at least one or two delightful new designs. This season is no different; retro, vintage, pin-up, and rockabilly enthusiasts will love the new 6453 Misses' Princess Seam Dresses with Straight or Gathered Skirt (we recommend making View A with its full gathered skirt). If you or a loved one are attending a formal event this season, try the 6454 Misses' Ruffled Dresses and Shawls. Based on a design from 1950, this retro pattern is a great pick for those who are to attend a prom or wedding this year.
