This Sunday, join us for a lively hour long chat with Aimee Dolby, the woman behind Betsy Ross patterns.

She began her love affair with sewing when she was 10 years old with a member of her local 4-H club in rural Indiana. After taking up sewing again to relieve stress during graduate school, she found it impossible to find stylish, well-fitting and user-friendly patterns. So one night, unable to sleep, Aimee began thinking of a better way to make sewing patterns, and she came up with Betsy Ross.

She named Betsy Ross after the famous seamstress of course, but Betsy was also an entrepreneur, upholstery expert, political activist, mother, wife, and all around amazing woman. To Aimee, the name Betsy Ross evokes the characteristics of the women for whom she created her company: inventive, creative, powerful, and multi-faceted.

Chat with Aimee this Sunday to learn more about her patterns. All PR members are invited to this chat. If you are not a registered member of PatternReview.com, it takes just a few seconds to become one. Membership is FREE! Click here to become a member.
