We all love to follow along, whether it is with the latest trends or the reliable basics. Inspiration is the life force that drives us to pick up the needle and thread to create and stretch our boundaries. It is the motivator that brings us together on PatternReview. We are definitely inspired by today's fashion trends, but mostly our members are inspired by others on our site. We also continued to host our Zoom classes to our online sewing class offerings for even more innovation this year. Now sit back and relax and take a look at our inspirational posts and fashion trends from this past year as well as get inspired to take a Zoom class this coming year!

Trends and Inspiration Posts

Sparked by a highly popular Bomber Jacket Post that was written at the end of 2017, we have since been gathering statistics from our immense database of reviews to come up with the top patterns of our iconic fashion staples, which we have since named Wardrobe Essentials.  We realized that fashion trends never go out of style they just get recycled.  Diving into the history of some of our favorite articles of clothing we realized countless members have written reviews on patterns from numerous different designers.  We created a list to help you sort out these reviews in each of the following blog posts.

Vogue 9075 jumpsuit has certainly been a hit! My absolute favourite version was made to wear to a wedding. I think the young woman might not even be a member on here, she posted the outfit on her blog, sweetshard. She even made a matching belt. I'm looking forward to the 'best patterns of the year' post, and if there is a jumpsuit category, I'm assuming this will make the cut.
