Voting for the 2023 Fitted Blouse Contest is now underway. There are so many reasons why we sew and most likely one of them is the desire to own well-fitting garments. This contest brings FIT to the forefront and we are encouraging you to showcase those fitting
skills in the form of a FITTED BLOUSE. For this contest, we asked our members to sew a Fitted Blouse based off the following criteria: 1. Shaping. Use darts, princess seams, gathers, tucks, pleats, etc. to achieve shaping that follows the contours of the body through the bust and waist. 2. Closure. Because it is a fitted blouse, it cannot be a pullover. Functional closures (ex. buttons, zippers, hook & eye) are required. 3. Collar. Any style as long as it is a collar. 4. Sleeves.Required. Set-in sleeves only. Raglan/Dolman/Cut-on sleeves are not allowed. AND 5. Fabric. Woven or Stretch woven (solid or print or combo) only. Knits are not allowed. See more Contest Rules here.

The First Place and Second Place will be decided by member votes.
