The winners of the 2023 Wardrobe Sudoku Contest have been selected. Sudoku is one of the most popular puzzle games of all time. The goal of Sudoku is to fill a 9x9 grid with numbers so that each row, column and 3x3 section contains all of the digits between 1 and 9. As a logic puzzle, Sudoku requires focus and big picture thinking. Wardrobe planning is like a game of Sudoku - making that skirt work with that top- but then which shoes will match?!?

The principal for this Wardrobe Sudoku is pretty straightforward:

4 Tops
4 Bottoms
4 Accessories/Extras
4 Footwear

These 16 items fit in a 4 x 4 grid - see below. EACH row - up and down, across, and diagonally must "work with" or "coordinate" with each other. This will result in at least 10 combinations. Contestants had to sew at least 10 of the 16 items in the list. The remaining 6 items may be already owned, purchased, or sewn. See more Contest Rules here.

18 members participated in this contest.  All our members of PatternReview had the opportunity to vote to decide the First and Second Place Winners.  And the winners are....
