PR DC/NOVA/MD and Boston, MA Meet-ups Highlights
On Saturday, Oct. 14 six PatternReview members of the DC, N. Virginia and Maryland Area had a Meet-up in Washington DC. scormeny writes - "Yesterday (Sat, Oct 14) we managed to get a great group together for PR Day DC! We had lunch at Western Market, in Foggy Bottom. Sheryl and Nikki brought some items they wanted to give away, and Michael brought a great sample of some snaps for a jacket project that he invited us to weigh in on.

"After lunch, Adrienne, Nikki and I went on to the Textile Museum nearby. They had several interesting shows, including a "pop up exhibition" of quilts made through a program of The Advocacy Project which does international partnerships to get artists to make panels and quilts.
This was my favorite of a lot of lovely and interesting quilts about COVID disruption."

Our second Meet-up occured on the same day, Oct. 14 in the Boston Area. Four PatternReview members met at a Fabric, Yarn and Craft Store in Cambridge, MA. Deepika writes "Rob, Laura, Lisa and I met at Gather Here. From there we went to Pita for lunch. We did a little show and tell of what we were wearing and just chatted about our next meetup which will be in March 2024. We talked about meeting at a maker space where we could gather and sew together. More details to follow on the forum post."
